Facebook, Twitter, Website Banner Examples
Question: What’s the difference between Facebook banners, Twitter Banners, and Website Banners?
Answer: Mainly optimal size. Banners for specific applications should be designed at the optimal size in order to look best. All can have any information you’d like on them to advertise your books or your author brand. Facebook and Twitter banners are normally used to advertise a new release or welcome people to your Facebook/Twitter page. They can include 3D images of your books, or they can simply reinforce your author brand with specific imagery. Website banners are often created with a call-to-action to signup for your email list or purchase a new release. It’s really up to you what you want to highlight in these areas, but creating stunning graphics that are optimal sizes fo each platform enhance your author image.
Social Media Posts & Teaser Examples
Below are social media posts, however, posts and teasers can include enticing text blurbs, buy now buttons, irresistible character bios and more. The idea is to create a post/teaser that is so enticing, a viewer can’t help but click. Where do they go once they click? You decide. You can drive traffic directly to your book, or a free chapter, or an email signup. I hope to get more examples with varied teasers online soon.
